Joint Live Stream with Erin Proctor from Saturn 5 Studio 🪐

Hey friends, what are you doing next Wednesday?? Not sure yet? I got something for you! You can join me at a joint live stream studio session with my smith buddy Erin and I for an evening of metal making fun!

Erin and I met at our alma mater, CSULB back in 2006. We have shared the space, tools and equipments in the metal major studio, along with the blood-pressure-rising deadline stress and the dopamine-inducing satisfaction when projects got done. Almost a decade and a half later, we somehow haven’t gotten sick of each other and we continue to bug each other with smith-related questions, general life hacks and more. (Mostly me with the questions and she with all the answers though I have to confess.)

Fun fact: I rewarded her by making her one of my beautiful bridesmaids 😂

Another bond we have other than metal nerd talks, is definitely our love for the majestic creature— CATS. Above is one of her recent works which I absolutely adore. Feel free to check out her work on her website and her Instagram.

And since this neverending Covid life is provoking all the anxiousness that inevitably eats up some of our creative juice, I thought it would be fun to invite her to join me, make a kitty piece, and chill the fuck out (sorry, not sorry).

I will be making a memorial piece inspired by my forever love Peanut a.k.a. Farsi, and Erin will be giving us a surprise.
